I appreciate all of the help that everyone has been giving me with my E4OD troubles. But now I have found a super duty with the ZF5 in it and I am seriously thinking about buying it to do a conversion. I had the motor balanced when I built it. Will a shop be able to balance the new flywheel to the balance of my old flexplate? I currently am using the old heavy 6.9 flexplate. Thanks.

Honestly, you can use it without balancing - it'll work fine. But yes, I'd expect any shop that can balance something to be able to balance a flywheel to match another one. It shouldn't be off by much.

Many that have actually had them checked, balance was way off. Several even being drilled off center.
