Anyone ever see one of these? GM part number 22511639. I was thinking about putting it on my CUCV M1008 for the winter.

My 6.2 has one like that. Never hooked it up though.
May do some experiments to see If it makes a difference in fuel temp.

I assume the wire is for a positive hook up but how does it ground? I wouldn't mind seeing a picture if you could snap on off.

If I get home while it's still light out, I will.
But otherwise, I believe it grounds through the line.

Don't know how much money you can spend, but IIRC Raycor makes some really good filter/heaters.

Crap, completely forgot.
I go out here in a bit and get it.
The engine is pulled, but I never even hooked up the heater, as I was running plain diesel.

You can sorta see it there.
Mine has the secondary filter at the back of the intake. So it grounds there, and at the lift pump.
I can maybe look in my book to see if there's any info on it, but I'm not real sure a factory one would do much good for waste oil.
(Not sure if that's your intentions)

That one is a bit different than mine, do you have anything showing what year it may be off of?
