Making the switch to Cummins

I'm a long time Ford guy who just sold a 91 F250 that I used to haul a 29' fifth wheel. I did a ton of upgrades to the 7.3 and E40D, and made them work well, but have been a Cummins fan for years.

I've decided on either an 2003 or 2004 Ram 2500 because of good hp and torque with limited emission add-ons and no killer dowel pin. After reading through the treads already posted I'm a little concerned about the automatic transmission. The trucks I'm considering all have about 150K, but appear to be in great shape. Two of them are one owner.

Are there things I should be especially careful of with those years of Ram 2500s?
