Hi fellow idi’ers I have been reading oilburners for a while now. I have learned a huge amount reading this form and have saved so much time and money from peoples advice. I really appreciate everyones contributions of knowledge. It is also lots of fun to read what others are doing to their trucks.

My truck is a 1986 F250 6.9 idi na, 4x4 with a 4 speed manual. I think it has a little more than 200,000 miles can’t know for sure though. I’ve done a lot of everything to keep it going. It has had at least a book of problems so I am always fixing something. It is an oil burner for sure though. Burns through about a quart every 120 miles. Runs good though, it really gets around good.

Oh hey, this is basically my exact truck. I have the same thing but the next year, 1987.
