leaking coolant

i have a coolant leak that appears to be near ip. some is running down over the front of the driver side exhaust. some is running down the valley to the back.

There's a frost plug right on top of the block, half covered by the IP gear cover. Maybe?

thanks. while looking for leak today, i did not see one. can it be seen with ip in place.
