Keep custom intercooler pipes from blowing off.

Nice approach. I ran a weld bead around the end of mine to do the same thing - cheaper than another new tool at least, though not as pretty. Mine are aluminum, so the bead is soft, would want to be more careful with steel to make sure there weren't any sharp edges left to rip up the hose.

Just bought a pair of pliers for this. I'll be using it for a filler neck bead, but same difference!

Yeah, that works well. Along the same lines I've also put a bead of JB weld on IC pipes before.





Just bought a pair of pliers for this. I'll be using it for a filler neck bead, but same difference!

I'm going with the video version. I figured it could be used with more sizes of pipe, albeit with a bit more effort.
