Same dealer AC on my 85, dont even know if it works I never use AC

HAHAHA! I told I'd give him $50 for the hat just for wall art...He was pissed, but I got it anyway!

I recently told a member here that he could have my Banks box for free, does that tell you how much their worth?LOL
In all fairness, if you really want it, I would probably figure it to be worth 50 bucks or less. I removed mine, because removing 12 plus bolts everytime I wanted to get to anything, was a real pita.

id rather have a hypermax over banks. easy turbo rebuild. less junk. ATS 093 is still grand to me

That is the AC compressor that was offered with the dealer installed AC kit... which at the time was all you could get with an XL truck. Nearly irreplaceable.
Interesting...based on the pic, I would have guessed that it was a GM R4 compressor; it looks very much like the R4 compressors that many '81-'85 Mercedes diesels used. Doubly interesting in that the only other truck I've seen with dealer air (either an '83 or '84) had a York compressor...I wonder why they changed that?

Those turbo boxes mounted to a work bench are worth more than you think. Best bolt bin for workin on stuff an it has a lid! Lol haha I have 2 mounted an would do another.
