Or go with a cheaper option, either hit up Russ or Classic Diesel Designs.

That’s all you need if you want to pay for convenience and no questions asked. If you have some patience I would go with R&D or an ATS93+ with CDD

two different vendors that you can get a turbo kit from

R&D has his design you can google R&D idi performance

Cdd is classic diesel designs, you would get a factory ATS093 kit and then bolt whatever turbo and different supporting mods you want ontop of that which is why I said “+”

Oh ok... I don't know a thing about turbos or adding a turbo so that was Greek to me. Thanks for explaining. I will have to send some emails.

They are very busy fellas. If you want an answer faster, I'd suggest calling them.

I'm not planning to add a turbo but I'm still curious.
Can these be installed without pulling the engine out? (including adding EGT gauge)
Will my comfortable top speed, with C6 tranny, go up much or is the benefit mostly acceleration and pulling power? I'm guessing RPMs is RPMs and top speed remains the same.

Rpm and top speed will remain the same, but your power curve will be increased. Better towing, better fuel eco (as long as you keep your foot out of it) and yes you can get a kit that works with the C6. You can install everything without removing the engine.
