Is my injector pump toast.

Oil sump over full, coming out breather. Rough idle. Low oil pressure light on.

Where can I find info on removing pump from truck? Is it that hard? My factory shop manual show nothing on the injector pump.

Any help would be appreciated.

does it smell like diesel at all if so your dumping in fuel from your crap lift pump

That's it. Smells like diesel big time. I'll try the lift pump first. That's an easy fix. How do you tell the difference between lift pump and injector pump?

Lift pump is on the side of the block like an old gas job mechanical pump I would reccomend a carter electric to perminently fix but go get a new mech lift pump at ford if possible most auto store remands suck

Also drain oil and do not drive will cause damage to bearings etc.

You're in the dodge Cummins section.
So get it from DODGE or go electric.

Ive had many lift pumps go out on first gens. Id put a electric lift pump.. plus the thing is not so easy to replace since its so far down on that tall block

Definitely buried in there. I'd take changing my psd pump over one. (Haven't done the Cummins one yet, but looks to be a pita)

Any pump Elec pump you'd recommend?
