Intercooler question

I went to a u pull yard and got myself a intercooler. I got it from a 2001 SD. I have a 97 powerstroke and I'm just wondering if I need those sensors that came on the Spyder pipe or do I just plug up the holes. Also is it similar to the pre 99 intercooler? I know I got to do some modifications thanks in advance

If your truck is running now then you do t need any more sensors just plug them Your obs is different then the super duty. As you said already you have to fabbing to do but it will work great in the end. I’m in the process of adding an intercooler to my 1990 7.3idi. I know it’s not the same thing but sort of.

Go ahead and plug the holes. They are for the waist gate solenoid.
