Idle fuel consumption?

Hi gang! Can anyone tell me approximately what fuel consumption is at idle on a basically stock 73 IDI Turbo? Thanks!

Don't quote me on this but I seem to recall reading "somewhere" that consumption was around 1/3 gallon per hour at idle.

the amount is very little. problem is due to being so little, the cylinders are too cold and the rings get washed down. on my in town towtrucks, the best I get is 150k on a motor before the oil consumption goes to a gallon between fillups.
