I have a zf5 from an 89 f250 diesel 4x4. It comes with all the parts needed to convert an automatic truck to a 4x4 except the tcase linkage

Parts included -

transmission
clutch and dmf flywheel
drive shafts
pedal brackets

I can strap it to a pallet and help load.


I priced out shipping a week ago and it would have been around 250-300 to ship all the above listed parts to Illonios.

It came out of an 89 f250 with 150k. I talked with the owner who said that it had been in the shop for snycro's before he bought the truck, but I dont have any papers to actually prove it.

I drove the truck around for a day hauling scrap and it shifted smoothly and went into gear nicely. It all around is a much better tranny then I have in my own truck and the syncros do work smoothly. It has a dmf flywheel that is loose and slips up high but held great down low when taking off.

As for weight, I would guess somewhere around 75 without the clutch, pressure plate or flywheel. The flywheel alone has to weigh around 50 lbs.

Yea, the other parts were available if desired by the purchaser for an auto to manual swap.

This is a great deal, IMO. I just bought one for my T-19 to ZF swap that has new sychros and paid 500 for it with only the clutch, nothing else, and I figured I got a great deal myself. A lot of these buggers (at least on the west coast) are going for 800-1200 for a 4x4 ZF5 diesel.
