I'm certain the driver side motor mount is shot but I just want to double check the reason why, I ordered a new mount and realized there are bushings on each side of the mount now there's a part of me that is thinking that there's a chance the actual mount may be just fine. I would appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks
Patrick

You have a bracket that is bolted to the engine then bolted to it is the insulator, motor mount , bolts to the frame mount. The mount is a one piece unit . Non repairable, if rubber part is bad then the mount needs replacing.

stick or automatic trans ?
If stick shift the stick or shifting handle/rod/noob will kinda rise and want move away from the driver under heavy engine loads .
automatic trans mission you can tell if the mounts are worn out if on a chassis dyno or you have someone riding on the front your truck watching the engine under a heavy load , which is somewhat dangerous.
other then that look at rubber to see if its cracked or torn up or pull the mount and inspect .
good luck
