The magnet came out with the top of the sensor for sure. I assure ya there was nothing left in the diff when I closed it up again....
Again, ya'll are a bunch of perverts!!!! I shoulda known better bout the thread title, obviously my mind wasn't in the gutter!!!!!!!
See, and for once, even though I've been following this thread, I didn't make one post!I was actually waiting to see how many posted this had happened, I've not seen it before, but I've not owned Fords either!

They had to install a new differential, because it would have been ruined with that kind of damage in there.

Okay soooooo my truck is fixed........... How awesome is that? Right.... my buddy came and picked it up today brought it to his friends shop and they fixed it and I have it back already. I mean dayum, I had no idea they were doing that even till late this afternoon. Had to replace something and put new bolts in, the ring gear was okay. Apparently, it's not a posi rear end anymore. I reckon I don't really care about that, cause it works!!! I was ecstatic. literally.

You are really gonna feel that open diff the next time you need 4 wd
3 wheel peels ain't no fun!
Save up and get a proper diff back in there!
Yea, all of our trucks besides for my brown truck and my dads project CC are open diffs. I'd like to eventually put a locker in my new D60 front axle but I've had people tell me its a bad idea for the icey snowey roads we have in the winter to run a locker in the front axle. Is this true???
