Today sitting at a stoplite I looked over at this F250 and noticied it was one of those "special" 7 lug rigs. I thought I would never see one because of the low production numbers but there it was. It was a gas motor so it wasn't much to look at....:rotflmao I wonder if Mel might be thinking about converting one over to diesel....:sly:rotflmao:rotflmao:eek: Maybe Pendot slayer is looking for some payback..:D

Was it a '97? That was the only time I've seen the so called "light duty" F250. It looked just like the then "all new F150" in '97. You know, the ones that had the exhaust exit infront of the rear passenger's tire.

My buddy has a 99 Light duty F250 w 7 lugs and another fried has a 7700 F150 that has 7 lugs, i think that is a 00 They are more common than you would think. You just have to look at EVERY f150 style truck you see and look for the F250 emblem or the 7700 tailgate emblem on the f150's

i thought they were just seven lug hub caps because they were aftermarket and thats what they did to get around the patent for the factory ford hub caps? the farm truck has 7 lug hub caps. we never understood why they were that way.

Ben, those trucks they mention here really do have 7 lugs on the axles. The hubcaps you speak of are a van thing usually, I also never understood the idea of fake-7 -lug caps over regular 8-lug wheels...
