I have issue with the overdrive, checked the tps, and temp sensors, all working correctly . Know anyone who works on 1st gen trucks?

I have an issue with my overdrive not engaging. Checked the tps and temp sensors. Does anyone work on 1st Gen trucks? No one to help in Traverse City.

Sure would be nice to have a list of places in Michigan that still work on these older vehicles.

The overdrive has a TPS that actuates it. It might be bad. You can run it on a toggle switch or get https://www.dieselautopower.com/dap-1st2nd-gen-cummins-tps-delete-silver-switch.html My gap on the crank sensor was too big. It wouln't charge the battery, or actuate the OD. You ought to go to the Cummins website to the 1st gen section. Not much goes on here with these old rigs. https://www.cumminsforum.com/forums/89-93-powertrain.53/
