I just got a new (to me) '06 3500 with a G56. Someone spent a lot of money on mechanical upgrades and there is a South Bend Clutch sticker on the back window. I know the sticker is worth 10-15 HP but, with all the money I CAN see, it's possible it has a South Bend, too.
All of the other manuals I've ever owned (I've owned a bunch) have had an inspection plate at the bottom of the bell housing. This, however, doesn't seem to. Is there a way to see the clutch without pulling the tranny?
