Help on Fuel System Issue

When I bypassed mine, I just made sure that the switch is set on the front tank (I'm running only the front). Mine was sucking some air and also putting at least some of the return fuel to the rear tank which had a hole in it somewhere. When I eventually replace the rear tank, I'm just going to run a line from the rear tank pickup to the front tank filler neck. I'll install an inline electric fuel pump and filter. Then I'll power it from a toggle switch. That way, when the front tank is getting low, I can fill it from the rear tank. When It gets full, I'll just shut off the toggle switch. The gauge will still work on the front tank.
