once its all done youll be loving the fact that you can run your truck on anything you can call "oil" based.
it works good to because then you can also use it to heat the bio/diesel/ whatever in the snow times, when you really need it up here.
ive got some really cool ideas/ setup tricks that will help you if you want.
for my home tank that i use to store/ clean and de-water etc the oils its super simple.
i took an old transfer pump/ tank setup that i had for diesel etc, took the factory filter off and put a 2way valve on it so i can the pump through the fitler or just straight pumping. i did this so when i go to pick up the oil from somewhere i can pump it out fairly easy, and its much faster. then later when i get home i can plug in my tank heater, which by the way was 12 bucks at lowes and its just the 5500watt water tanks heater element that i put in some one inch pip that is welded low and below the L in the tank so its always submerged. Make sure its always submerged when its on otherwise itll blow up. anyways that has been wired well etc. so that element will get that 60 gallons of waste oil steaming hot in about 35 minutes! it really heats that stuff up. then once the oil is really hot and such i switch over the 2 way valve and pump it through the primary 10 micron then through the 2 micron centrifuge and water seperator. it works quite well.
i got every single part from NAPA for everything except for the heating element.
Its worth your time to do it right like me the first time. now i can set my timer and forgot it
