I found this little monster while pulling apart the donor dodge pickup.
it's job is to warm/cool the transmission fluid. I'm thinking the possibilities are limitless with WMO:D;Sweet originally I thought it was a oil cooler like what's on the IH idi's.

Was it toward the end of the truck? I have something just like this on the bottom end of My e350. About 16" long 5" diameter?

ez-
it's mounted on the passenger side of the block between the adapter plate and the motor mount. just right below the exhaust manifold.

The dodge I had was a 5spd so that may be why I didn't see that but it sure looks like an excellent size exchanger to heat up any fuel.

When You say donor truck, what exactly are You implying?:D;Really
