Heat exchanger........

I found this little monster while pulling apart the donor dodge pickup.
it's job is to warm/cool the transmission fluid. I'm thinking the possibilities are limitless with WMO originally I thought it was a oil cooler like what's on the IH idi's.

Was it toward the end of the truck? I have something just like this on the bottom end of My e350. About 16" long 5" diameter?

it's mounted on the passenger side of the block between the adapter plate and the motor mount. just right below the exhaust manifold.

The dodge I had was a 5spd so that may be why I didn't see that but it sure looks like an excellent size exchanger to heat up any fuel.

When You say donor truck, what exactly are You implying?
