Im taking apart my 7.3 idi and when taking off my valve cover noticed the left side has oil residue on the rocker arms and the left side has very little residue.Both side of the rockers seamed like they getting oil cause each rocker has oil pond on top but my left side almost look black

Do you have a turbo and does the CDR dump into a valve cover?? Some turbo designs will do this. Otherwise you may have a bad set of valve guide seals or someone before you replaced this head.
