you could talk to 88beast, i know you will need to make custom manifolds then your y pipe and a custom bracket to mount your turbo to, you could try to make something that will drain back into the valley pan but you will need to relocate your CDR and you can run the supply line from the factory port where your oil pressure sensor is you can also do a remote mount it or side mount it

Hey Trap,
Why has he got to make custom manifolds? Couldn't he just get a Y-pipe from a pick-n-pull and cut the flanges off to use (or even his old ones if he's brave) and go from there?

Here is some info on some different turbo's. Disregard the hp numbers. TP38 turbo's are the stock turbo's on a OBS PSD I believe.

Someone else was just telling me that this turbo will bolt onto the flange for an ATS 093 or factory turbo system. I haven't verified it for myself but they usually now what they're talking about. Don't know what you'd do about mounting it, if it would accept a turbo pedestal so you could mount it where the ATS, Banks and Hypermax turbos live or not. There are ways to make it happen. For $50 and a superior turbo it's got to be worth a try.

as long as the turbo and the install kit is a T3 mount, you can work around everything else. there are mount kits out there, ATS, Banks, Hypermax. All those kits are T3 mount. I've adapted the Banks WG turbo to GM 6.5 applications with good results. keep an eye out on CL or fleabay for them to pop up. ATS 093 kits tend to be a bit more common due to factory Ford support for a couple of years.

well you can mount as linked but then the turbo is still right on top of the motor and with the bigger hx35 its more of a pain
im doing this gm style on a side mount with a crossover pipe
heres a link
http://www.oilburners.net/forums/showthread.php?t=47648&highlight=turbo+build
i need to weld up the manifold get oil lines made up and an airfilter then its done
also this way the turbo is easier to access for me to pull it off swap housings and throw back on
now im stroked to 7.7 so im running a 21cm housing to start then if need be ill put an 18 cm on but for a stock motor a 12cm will work well
also i plan to do water or propane ram air for this setup and some other mods down the road
i plan to be in the 300 hp range once the turbo is done with the stroker kit
you can expect high 200s with a stock motor

then im going to build to 500 which will mean ic air grid heater higher boost ill be using the stock 17psi wg till i get time for studs then its up to 30 or when i feel its bad and possibly a compound setup
