I’m getting pretty serious about swapping my 48 out with a g56 I got all the parts in line but what I’m stuck at is the trans has an electric tcase behind it where I have a manual and I can’t seem to find any info on wether or not the truck has the wiring for it or not and how difficult it would be to plum it all in? TIA

You can't just keep your manual tcase?

Yes, but it just adds cost. $5/600 shaft replacement plus swapping it out which I don’t have the tools for. Since I already have access to an electric tcase I was just hoping that maybe they came pre-wired from factory for the electric tcase

IMO, install the trans/tcase, but don't worry about hooking up the wiring. Keep looking for the right tcase.

I recently picked up a NV271 w/driveshafts for $150... so the deals are out there. You just can't be in a panic.
