Its full. funny part was when i blew air threw the lines to the tank to see if i can hear bubbles in it, fuel started comming out of the return line. i let 3 gallons come out of it.

is it at all possible that the truck dies when i switch to the rear tank cause there is alot or air traped in the lines?

There are two possibilities.

One, you have a split in the draw-line INSIDE the tank, or it has broken off.

Two, and this may very well be it, the vent for the offending tank is somehow stopped-up.

Put the lines back of the tank, REMOVE the fuel-cap, fire it up and see what happens.

I had a tank get a stopped-up vent one time and I like to have went crazycookoo figuring it out.

call me crazy but yea i did have this idea while i was working on the truck in my shop but dismissed it as "yea right" i even had the cap off just so i could hear the fuel bubble.

im so fed up right now i think i might just go out to the truck right now and try it.

I know it sounds nuts but I had almost the same problem on a 98 suzuki gsxr. took me weeks to figure out why randomly at 3/4 to full throttle it would spit and sputter like it wasnt getting enough fuel. tried everything but pulling the tank and (remapped it and everything, major pita) finally pulled the tank to replace the pump and found silt in the tank that would roll (like water under diesel) and plug the pickup screen. could be something got in the tank during installation?
