Well I got the truck started this morning and everything seemed fine. As I was going down the road I noticed I was smoking a bit out of the exhaust and then shortly after I lost all power options due to the belt coming off from all the slick fuel spraying everywhere. So I put the belt on and now I’m home. The injector closest to the firewall on the drivers side is the culprit. The metal line is tight and not spraying but where the rubber line comes into the injector is gushing. Is this a injector that’s not popping open? I changed the rubber line and still have the same result. Any advice will be appreciated!

Either a cracked return, cap o-ring cut or hard line cracked under line nut. Are you missing any line clamps on that side?

It would have to be a stuck injector I would think? The rubber line shouldn't have any pressure really. Sounds like the pressurized fuel is spraying into the return? Unless the injector is sticking open and the compression is blowing the fuel back out.

Either way I would bet you need to replace that injector.

I bought my last injector at Ford parts giant but now they say the g code injector is discontinued. Have a trustworthy place you get injectors?

If the line clamp is missing, probably have a cracked line under the nut.
Replace that line & be sure you have ALL line clamps installed or you will have the problem again and possibly a fire.

Can you tell me what these line clamps do? My NA truck has them but my turbo truck didn’t have them when I bought it.

They keep the lines from vibrating & cracking them.

May be where your air intrusion started when you had a hard time restarting in your other thread.

Loosen that line nut & raise it above the flare at the injector. You will see the crack if it is one (stress crack).

Check your other lines that mate into that clamp while you are in there. Magnifying glass if you have it or use your phone.

If my line was cracked wouldn’t fuel be spraying around the nut? My fuel is spraying down at the cap where the rubber line goes into the injector kinda like there is no where for the fuel to go
