Fuel shutoff solenoid leak

So I just replaced my fuel shutoff solenoid and it's leaking fuel out the top where you thread the nuts on to fasten it. I've tried using o rings to seal it as well as the red insulators but no luck. Am I doing something wrong?

Those red isolators are supposed to seal those openings. Are they damaged in any way? I bet you could get away with adding RTV to make it seal.

The red insulators are brand new.
