Has any one had to change out their fuel lines or modify fuel system for running wmo ot atf? I run atf and haven't had any problems but want to be aware of any future problems.

Was just talking to Sam (4x4truckingirl) about this.. She asked if any mods were necessary. I've been running WMO/Hydraulic fluid/ATF in my 87 since May, and I haven't seen any evidence that it's bad for the lines. I know that biodiesel will eat through just about anything.. :dunno But so far, I've logged over 4,000 miles without any problems..

Just my 2 cents worth...

running atf through regular fuel lines will cause them to come apart inparticles that make autotransmissions cease to function (people use fuel lines for trans fluid lines to coolers) i do not have experience in injection pumps but rubber particles do not sound good for pump or injectors and they rot from inside out

+1 but i dont know if it is really any danger to the pump
also-after running wmo/atf for a while in the chevy i noticed the outside of my fuel lines were slippery.

i think atf does degrade fuel lines but i dont think it happens fast enough to matter... my 2cents
