I will be installing a 384 watt 12 V inline fuel heater on my 03 dodge 3500
with cummins diesel. I have a fass fuel pump and a add on 2 micron spin
on filter large capacity both close to tank . Also ran new fuel line to stock
filter setup.Will be running 50 % diesel 50 % wmo/hyd fluid/trans fluid mix.
Should heater be before the big 2 micron filter or closer to injection pump.
Was thinking of just after fuel pump before first filter.Getting ready for cold
weather. Most of the winter hear in tx is over 30 deg.

I was also curious about putting the fuel heater before the fuel pump. My fuel pump has a really hard time on cold mornings with the WMO.

I am thinking if you put it before pump it could over heat lift pump? It heats to 158 to 176 deg.

I installed downline from lift pump and first 2 micron spinon filter I added before stock filter set up. The Vegtherm Mega heater is a inlne about 12 inches long that I straped to return line to tank so it will allso heat fuel returning to tank. It gets very hot to touch very fast .
