Left side bearing died and friction overheated that side?

i dont know what caused it, i havnt owned this truck long enough to cause said damage.

the u joint is sloppy.

i posted this in a vague manor to see what you guys thought.

dont look right to me.

either going to have to get a new yoke, or tig it and grind it until the u joint fits again.

Perhaps the cap came loose or the joint seized on that side and it was spinning inside the yoke? Does look worn... has a funny angle to it unless its just the picture.

Get a new or good used one, if only one side is loose it has been pissed.

i dont farm out much.
but from time to time, i like to throw local small businesses work.
i dropped my front driveshaft off and was supposed to give him the go ahead.
i need to order a new yoke, and id like to order a new yoke through him,
but i need diameter and spline.
without pulling either of mine, im lost in the dark.
