89 E350 Ford 15 passenger van with 7.3 IDI diesel and E40D transmission. Asking $2,500.00. Driveway needs space. Needs work but do not feel like working on. Van is in to good a condition to junk.

Mileage is 138,820. Transmission rebuilt by a shop in Arkansas prior to any trouble. Rebuilt to avoid some ring breaking that is common. Rebuilt supposed to correct problem.

Additional transmission cooler installed at same time.

4.10 rear. Suppose to be Dana 60. Manual is confusing as may be Dana 70. Sorry, do not know.

Class III trailer hitch installed. Seven pin hookup.

Since 98 or 99 mostly interstate driving.

Four wheels have good tread.

Used as “sleep in van”. Had a queen size air mattress on raised platform. Slept very nicely.

Two captain chairs for nice ride.

Fuel was mixed with about two or three ounces of two cycle oil and about two or three ounces of Kleen. Has two fuel tanks. This amount was put in each fuel tank at fill up. Believe good for injector pump and rings.

Has electric fuel pump. Also a backup electric pump that was never used.

Have some manuals.

Has not been driven since mid to late 2016. That is when purchased a Chrysler Aspen. Then had to change tags and insurance. Has been started several times to keep oil in engine. Last time tried to start, would not as fuel filter must be changed. Haven’t gotten to that. Two filters in back.

Now for the bad news.

Some glow plugs do not heat. Engine hard to start, especially when cold. I had a diesel fuel block heater so did not mind.

OEM AC does not work so installed AC camper unit in roof. Hole in hose just over steering rod. That is a long story as caused by mechanic. Price for hose was about $1,200. To high.

The two batteries should be replaced or desulfated. Would recommend you purchase new batteries.

Driver’s side door windows and lock switches does not work. Looked at. Was going to repair switch by soldering but could not find soldering iron. Have not gone to junkyard for replacement switch.

Not all door locks work by electric.

Side windows are painted white, except for driver’s and passenger’s, so no one could see inside at night.

Rotor is out of round as brake pedal pulsates. Have two rotors.

Exhaust pipe has hole forward of muffler where bracket was welded to connect to frame.

Only bench seat goes at back door in van. It is a four seater. Others bench seats thrown away. The two captain chairs are still installed.

Long post but tried to give info as may or may not want.

If want more info, PM me.
