I rip it all out, then insulate the heck out of the floor and put in new jute the vinyl floor no carpet. I don’t like floor mats. But weather tech stopped making them for our trucks so now it’s huskey (pretty affordable) or 3dmatusa. But they are way up in price.

Know a good source on where to get the insulation and vinyl? Never done a floor install on a vehical.

Hey, be careful starting a thread like this. One time, a long time ago, a member ( @Nero ) started a thread called "Cupholders" and his starter post said "so what are you guys doing for cupholders?" And it became a phenomena. Just a warning.

As far as me and floor mats: I have a couple of regular auto parts store floor mats that slide around because I didn't buy them new, but found them in another old vehicle and the little studs on the back are gone. It's hard to beat "free to good home". I have a "Joe Cool Snoopy" floor mat that was in another vehicle I recently acquired that might migrate into the truck. But yeah, just about anything works. I've used pieces of house carpet, cut to size, with good success too. I guess you could tear out all the carpet and do stall shavings and freshen them up every few days, that wouldn't be too bad, reasonably sanitary and you could do ceder if you got bugs. Anyway, that's my contribution to ideas.

It definitely became a big ol shitpost.
I nabbed a few nice ones out of a wrecking yard truck. Just a generic one, but they're red so it matched the carpet.
