Hello.I have a 1988 f250 idi and I want to eventually install a turbo in it.Any recommendations on where to purchase and what brand of turbo to research?Thanks

Welcome. There's only a couple of big name companies that are selling complete turbo kits these days. As far as I know, Banks and Hypermax are the only ones. Every other complete kit is used, if you can find one. Neither kit is cheap.

^ What IDIBronco said above, only I would not expect a ton of support from Banks or Hypermax. I would look at russrepair.com, R&D Performance at idiperformance.com or classicdieseldesigns.com.

I don't believe most of those sell complete kits though. Only Banks and Hypermax. The rest sell upgrades to existing turbo kits.
