I've read the turtle site for hours. I completely love their trucks. I don't have a use for this truck, but it's completely worth the money in my opinion because of the attention to detail. This was a well thought out rig.

Nice rig!! Hope it sells to a good owner. It would be a shame to me for them to sell it for less money to some idiot that would just tear it apart and paint it flat black.

Agreed! I'd love to get my hands on a all-terrain go-anywhere trail rig like that, and if I had $14K to burn I'd seriously consider that truck...having read through their site a number of times, IMHO it's worth the asking price. But, a play rig/3rd vehicle has to wait...more important to have a towing rig  Someday...

I read the original magazine articles years ago depicting the build and all the travel, that rig is sweet, would be a great tow vehicle for someome with a toy or toys....

Worth every penny....ya Darrin said it right...it could not be fully duplicated to the quality it is for any thing less than 25 K at least...

My gf loves that truck. She would use it all the time. Wish I could get it for her. Oh well guess she will have to deal with the trucks I have. LOL

I saw this truck at Hoaks 4Wheel Drive in Helam PA one time. They had stopped there, I guess, to do some repairs. Hoaks was letting them use one of their bays. Yes, the Turtle Expedition was so well known, that they could pretty much pull in anywhere (in the U.S. anyway) and get whatever they wanted. They had so many sponsors and a lot of clout, and nobody dared impeed it's progress, let the whole world be told. I attempted to talk to the guy working on it, but he turned out to be an arrogant SOB who wouldn't give me the time of day. Still the coolest IDI I think to ever come down the pike.
