Its a 6 9

So as you can see in the pic my y pipe is not close to fitting. Hits the intake manifold and even the block from what I can see. Pre attaching it doesn't allow the turbo to sit on the pedestal. It's an either or situation.

I can cut the tab off and it wouldn't be enough. What am I missing? Putting the exhaust headers on soon to determine if that fitment will even be close. I'm fraid this will take a custom accommodation.

Is there a way to turn the turbo out up? Allowing the the pipe to bolt up higher missing both the fuel line and allowing more clearance between the Intake?

Can you also post some pics that show more of the feed pipe and back of the motor? It looks kind of like the upper turbo feed pipe isn’t oriented correctly but it’s hard to tell from the close up, or maybe the lower “y” is rocked too much to one side? How does the crossover pipe fit up to the “y”? Or twist the scroll on the center section aka “clock the housings” differently.

Looks good now, glad you got it. Might want to consider heat wrap or ceramic coating that feed pipe to help keep the heat off the return rails. I don’t have much experience with the solid return rails but excess aluminum expansion or enough transferred heat to melt the orings at that last injector may cause a leak that would be a bear to deal with.

So true thank you for the heads up! I have some wrap I'll put on it. Can you put wrap over hi temp paint?
