It seems ford uses just plain old steel hardware for exhaust. Is there a reason on a 7.3 turbo to not use copper nuts or stainless hardware? I have done few engine rebuilds in my life, Mercedes diesels and older gm engines tend to use copper nuts on exhaust and they really seem to never seize but they are noticeably softer, in fact they often look like the thread is a very slight oval. Just wondering about an upgrade for these parts.
