It is running alright :D. I found the problem, there seems to be an absence of a mechanic and the kid here forgot to tighten the nut at the fender relay where the alternator fusible links connect  I knew that when I moved some wires the light on the hood would come back ON so I started moving some wires and voile it was ON so there You have it, when You swap a cummins on Your ford don't forget to tighten the nuts on the relay :idiot:.

Thank You all.

Well since Ezikiel is having electrical problems...I might as well make it two of us..Here is my story..1991 f-250 7.3l....a new reman. altenator with new regulator(external)...I'm getting 12-12.5 volts...which just happens to be what is on the batteries(which also are new)...If I rev to about 3k-3.5k the battery lite on dash will go out...but output remains the same...this is actually the 2nd reman alt...since i've returned the first one for same problem(the orig. alt. tested bad)...any ideas?....the wiring appears to be ok...but I'm about to pull the tape *** protective covering off and see for myself...any suggestions appreciated

either you have a dead alternator, or when you connected the wires from the regulator to the starter relay, you may have burned up your regulator, which is like a $40 fix from an alternator shop.
