Speaking of fans and CFM's, I have a flex-a-lite catalog that has a fan in here that is rated for 5500 CFM's at 100% RPM's. I'm wondering if this thing will work. Also how big of an area does the stock fan/shroud take up? The fan I'm thinking about is 17"x32"x4.5". It also says its good for diesel applications up to 18000 GVW.

I have had a small (~14")single electric on my 97 powerstroke, came off a honda - on all the time - no time to hook up a thermostatic set up - but it works fine and it's a single fan.... these powerstrokes have great cooling systems!
