The C6 is a really strong trans Rob. We don't read or hear about too many blowing up here. Even the stock ones. Perhaps the problem was a lack of cooling and your temp sender on the wrong side.

Rob don't toss that converter. I'd like to cut it apart and look inside. It would make a good conversation piece around the camp fire.

Yea no kidding. Called those butt-wipes yesterday. Still no word on a title correction. Hell they can't even tell me that have it until they have had it for a week.

well i installed the properly sized cooler lines and the trans seems to work good as new. i took it for a little cruise and the temps hit 180-185 on hills but stayed around 160 in general. i will run it around a bunch this weekend and see how she does.
