Well i found someone locally in North Jersey who I feel is qualified to rebuild this slush box. Fisher Transmission in Fairfield NJ. He gave me a printed out list of upgrades he does to the trans. a rebuilt converter with twice the clutch surface and fully brazed fins. With a one year 24,000 mile warranty. he is also uses Mag-Hytec pans and diff covers so Im having him throw on a Mag pan which saves me the trouble of buying one and putting it on. So im leaving for vacation tomorrow and get back next friday so I will let you all know how the trans is doing after I pick it up and put a few hundred miles on it. stay tuned for updates.
