I have a 1989 super cab 7.3 (cab and a half) and am doing some converting. I need a rear driveshaft for a zf5 with transfer case. Front driveshaft as well if someone has it. I'm located in TX and would prefer to pick up. If someone has one they are willing to part with let me know what you have and what you want for it. Thank you.

A front dubble cardone can be found on rockauto under number 659721. As for the rear, your going to have a hard time finding one. I ended up just getting parts to take to a drive shaft shop to get one made. Good luck on your hunt to find one.

Do I just knock the double cardan off so it will hook up to my t case? My t case has a fixed yolk on both sides.

Is this a f250 d50 or a f350 d60 truck, both hafe fixed yoke but different length shaft? There is a tsb on the f250 noise and vibration where you would want the dubble cardone shaft. Here is the parts list from the tsb but cant find the yoke, so would want a conversion joint. A 1310 to 1330 conversion joint would be SDH-5-134X.

With the d60 the first number 659721 is a correct part for your truck and you should have the 1330 yoke on the transfer case if original.

I'm converting a 2wd truck into a 4 wheel drive. The components I have came from a cab and chassis dually but the driveshafts were already parted when I bought my donor. The yolks on the t case are what was on it when I got it. It's a bw1356 t case according to the plate I was able to find.

So then you should good and have the 1330 yoke. You can make by taking a measurement, should accept a 1-1/16 diameter cap at a 3-7/32 width.

Not sure what that part number looks like but I do have what is on it in the picture on front and rear. Never seen a double cardone without a flat plate/flange. And I don't have flanges/flat plates on my t case. Front and rear yolks on t case are same as on the rear end with u bolt straps. The part number for the driveshaft you mentioned pulled up a driveshaft with plate/flange on them.

Yea I see what your taking about that is adding confushion. In the search on rockauto it's bringing up a 3rd item 659324 that is unrelated and ignore that one. E5TZ4A376C is a second number on one that will bring up a exact match that is not flanged.

edit: you will need this bolt and nut set for the transfer yoke

45338-S2 Nut - 5/16-18 (Hex With Captive Conical
Washer) (4 Req'd)
385883-S100 Bolt - 5/16-24 x 1.25 (Double Cardan
Driveshaft) (4 Req'd.)
