A while back there was a very good thread about repairing a driver's door which will not open from the inside.

I thought I had it marked, but cannot find it. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

The truck in question is my '92.

Napa has the cables. If you can't find one let me know and I can send you one.

I'll have to open up the door again. I can't remember whether it has a cable or a solid rod. The problem is compounded by the fact that the electric window, same door, has gone belly up. The motor seems to run, but the connection to the window has gone real wonkey.

I'll continue looking for that specific post.

I'd like to. I'd really like to. You have no idea. However, I'm on lockdown. Alison has set down the law. I'm not allowed to go anywhere there might be people. I can't go to Costco, I can't go to the parts store, I can't go anywhere there might be exposure. The only place I'm allowed to go is medical. She keeps explaining to me that I'm in the highest risk group, by both age and medical condition. As an example, a little known fact: I'm older than Old Mister Bill.

So, conditions which must be met for me to go anywhere (I think I have this right): the pandemic has to be pretty well over, preferably with a vaccine, I have to still be able to be well enough, and you and Michelle have to be ready to "people" again. Once I can travel, the two of you could make me feel a lot better.
