That's probably a good idea.might be worth running a test light to see when tcm commands lockup. Mine would lockup in 2nd.
Seems like the wire is purple with yellow tracer.

Interesting, I thought it only locked up in overdrive. I learn something new everyday. I have a new solenoid pack installed but the plug was wrong so I had to order a new one. The magnet had very little fuzz on it, but i did change the fluid and filter less than 15,000 miles ago when I had to change the broken 1-2 accumulator spring. I checked all of the valve body bolts and they were tight.The TCM can command lock up in 2nd gear. This is a normal function.
