That's got a Hemi in it?
That's why I have this on my truck.
Yeah the Hemi isn't all that - last place I worked a dude got one and was really talking it up so we lined them up on the frontage road by the plant one night - I hung with him and toyed with him by goosing it during the run then slowing back down to keep him beside me. It really opened his eyes to what a diesel could do. I told him when he was looking to purchase a new truck that he should get the diesel option but he was still stuck with the concept that diesel were slow.
i like that!!! not sure but i have heard that the "new hemi" isn't even really a true hemi i sure would like to find out cause it is a shame what it is doing to the name.
Big deal, I got a hemi in my ESCORT!!!
SHhhh.... I wouldn't go around bragging!!
Not saying the ford wouldn't have run away anyway, and I am no fan of either to be honest, but what was the guy's reaction time in the dodge, like 5 or 6 seconds? The Ford was rolling through the 60 foot lights before the dodge even went nose up (not that is really ever did) and then the truck never took the "I'm having the shit ran out of me attitude!"
That being said, that Ford didn't even look to be rolling much smoke, but the video is not super clear either. Just imagine what would have happened if the Ford was "tuned" a bit!!!
A Hemi...whoopy frickin'doo Ain't been a true Hemi since '72.....
I saw a shirt at a sled pull a while back...couldn't catch up with the guy to ask where he got it.....
on the front....
"That thing got a Hemi?"
on the back....
"YEA!....got one just last night!"
Dodge avoid it like the.......
[My 99 diesel is slow has been from the day I picked it up new! 40 visits to try to have it fixed alllll at my expence! To tell you how bad, with a new vp44 and RV275 injectors I barely got ahead of a 2500 Chev pulling a 22 ft 5th wheel from intersection to intersection! I can hardly wait till my 55 arrives.
