Do the Fe engines use an SAE 3 bellhousing

I will warn you, a low powered diesel and a 3spd automatic without lockup are a fairly miserable combination. The 89-91 dodges setup this way used a 3.07 axle ratio.

You will need an adapter plate to mate the Cummins to the C6... Not a direct bolt in.... I had go 4BT over 12V... fits better in my 75 and still has plenty of torque... You also need ....custom motor mounts, bigger radiator, and exhaust work...

What's the goal - mpg or just want diesel power?

4BTs easily cost double around here, and dont come with the handy pickup-truck jewelry.

If saving space is critical, no intercooler helps. I'm really happy with non-intercooled (5spd) dodge actually, as a driver/commuter.
