Greetings all! Just wanted to inform the membership that we will be hosting our 2018 open house and diesel show Sunday September 16 from 11AM to 3PM. There will be free food and music, good information and technical tours of our shop. We request you RSVP to help us gauge how much food to get, and how to allocate space. Call 717-806-5561 extension 301 and let Suzi know, or send an email to [email protected] The Southern End Pullers will be present with their display, and their OBS Powerstroke Pulling truck (which is for sale) will be available for inspection. Come join us for lunch! We have a guy coming from Norway, so no excuses! LOL

Same here. As a newbie, I wish that I could make it. I'd like to put some faces to the names, shake hands and offer thanks to everyone that has been so helpful. Not to mention it seems like it would be a really good time...

We will be passing but probably outside the open house time by a lot on both ends. Taking the boy to maple grove for his first taste of nitro!

    I didn't but I believe @Agnem had some.

It was a haul, but has a good time with some great people and got to see some pretty cool toys!

the weather was great, we were originally supposed to get clobbered with the hurricane and there was talk of cancelling. the hurricane shifted paths and we had beautiful sunny skies and fair weather. thanks Mel and Suzi for opening up your business feeding us and showing us where you make the magic happen for diesel parts.

i didn't get a whole lot of pics but here are a few.

Many thanks to all of you who came out! We were very happy with the turn out and our IDI community was the best represented. We had 1 tractor, and a couple of VW's and heavy trucks. A lot of fun camaraderie and excellent conversation! I'm very honored by the number of miles some of you put down to come visit us! We know fuel is not cheap, and your visit was highly valued and appreciated! Since we didn't get to Jimmy Cone this year, it was nice to see some of our IDI friends after the rally, and we look forward to continuing to serve everyone throughout the year, and we look forward to seeing you all next time, whenever or wherever that may be. My pics look the same as what Subway posted, so no need to repeat. Thanks for putting them up!
