Died while driving, major oil leak

Pulled the valve cover and high pressure oil rail was crazy loose. Tried tightening down but bolts were stripped. Is it safe to drill and tap these holes or do I risk getting shavings where they don't belong?

Yikes, i would for sure worry about shavings.

Have a buddy hold a shop vac below and next to it and let your filter deal with the rest. Yes I know I know red neck.
