Thank You, and that is exactly what I needed straight.

Here is a pic I found, the stab link bracket is at a 90' angle it seems, is this right? the other pic I have looks to be at 80' angle.

The factory bracket is riveted right to the frame and can only go on one way. It follows the contour of the frame like your other pic

That photo is of a 60-series Toyota Landcruiser, right?

Not sure about the model/year but yes that is a landcruiser I believe and You're right there are differences from that to a f350 too. I looked at it this morning and with the measurement I got from DieselBrad the stab link looks just like the one on the pic I posted before the LC.

Thanks.

Got some more done this weekend, I have to get the brake hose bracket bolted and the track bar bracket holes drilled then it will be almost all done. Well that and I have to mount My front tires on the 4x4 rims which are different than the 4x2 rims since this last have an extra lock pin.

You dont need those line up pins. They are just so you stagger the valve stems. Grind or drive those pins out

A chevy guy askign a ford question, Do you have the change the floor at the tunnel? I changed a 2wd chevy to a 4wd and had to wedl in the tunnel to get clearance for the transfer case. I just picked up a 1991 F350 2wd adn I plan on converting it to a 4wd. Do i need to change the tunnel? seems to be pretty high as it is now. Willbe converting it to a manual 5 speed and a transfer case.

Nice build so far. i am watching it like a hawk. This truck is my work rig, I ride a motorcycle for DD use, but cant make a long term project out fo the truck.

You only have to change the tranny section of the floor pan and that's only if going from a n auto to a manual. Otherwise theres plenty of room with the factory tunnel..

If you pull back your carpet you will find that the pan is bolted in and is removed pretty easily.

Oh SNAP. ( I am way to old to actually say that)

Good to know. On my crew cab chevy, I had to cut out a center section adn weld it in my truck. Bolt in suits me just fine..

Finished drilling the last holes today after work, I really hope My measuring accurate. Looks good finished the brake hose brackets I made them out of a piece of flat steel and the track bar is installed as well, I removed the pin on both rims so I can install the front wheels next time. I have to bleed the brake lines and put everything else back together maybe this weekend I'll drive it out of the barn :D
