I purchased it a couple months ago from an old man that used it as his daily up until almost a year ago. It has Been sitting for about a year and was told it drive fine before then. ( he upgraded to a nice new forerunner) I have replaced the fuel filter, water separator, changed the oil, two new correct size batteries, new fss and I am getting the “click”. I emptied the rear tank as he said to always start it from the rear, and I’ve added about 10 gallons. (
I also popped the top from the IP and poured ATF into the top of the pump and let sit for almost 2 days and still nothing. I do believe it is spinning fast enough. With all that being said, I’m thinking it’s an IP issue but just seems weird that it was running fine then just not that easily. No prior hiccups with it. Any suggestions?
Side note, it has an electric fuel pump and I am getting fuel to the fuel filter and when I crack the steel lines off of the injectors I get nothing.

Is there a block heater?
No sir, I’m in southern CA, (high desert) it gets cold where I am but nothing crazy. Any time I’ve tinkered with it it’s been pretty nice out. Prob over 50 each time.

As many times as you've had the fuel system "open", my first thought is air intrusion.
Did you prime the fuel filter?

If so, I believe that I'd put a clear line (temporary) between the filter and the IP, loosen the injector caps and feed the electric lift pump 12v until I saw fuel.
If not, prime the filter and try the above process.

If you finally get fuel to the caps, tighten them one at a time, as they begin to weep.

Still no start? Search for "glow plug troubleshooting" or some such.

Ok, when u say a clear line, would it be return line from the filter to the IP or the fuel feed line?

A quick check you can do; When cranking and cranking, do you see white smoke from the tailpipe? If you do, that means you have fuel and you most likely have a heat problem(engine too cold to fire). If you do not see white smoke when cranking, then you have a fuel problem.

These engines do like their glowplugs on a first morning start, even when it's warm outside.

I meant the return line.
Bubbles = air in the system.

Sometimes it takes a "minute" to get the air out.

While your pump is running, depress the Schrader valve (on the filter head) until you get a steady stream of fuel from it and no bubbles in the return line.
