My F250 with a C6 and 3.55 gears has got up to 18mpg on the highway and probably averages around 12-15 in combined driving. Not bad at all in my book.

btw...to the OP, if you don't have your heart set on this truck, speak up. Castiac is a 10 hour round trip for me and I will deal with the consequences of buying yet another CC dually when I get home.

FWIW I don't know if there's anything I can do to help, but I'm driving down there tomorrow.

Can I call dibs on the running boards and mounting hardware if anyone buys it and strips those off and the drivers side looks as good as the passenger side? I'm serious. FInding running boards is difficult, much like a stock tach!
